Chief Powerboats has created a performance boat that has raised the bar on industry standards regarding quality, fit, and function. For the offshore boater looking for something new, and realizing the importance of the history of offshore competition, this boat is for you!
Chief has spent years engineering and designing our Delta Twin Step. Working closely with our Netherlands-based Naval Architect, our team developed our signature and innovative step pattern. Unlike most deep-vee step bottom boats, the Chief hull is not only fast and efficient but also extremely agile. The 42 Warrior hull can turn and maneuver unlike anything in the marketplace. This is in large part why our Factory Race Team finished the Venture Cup with the fastest overall time in 2013, winning the Famous Guernsey Cup.

Propulsion Options
Chief is a proud partner of Mercury Racing. We offer their entire lineup to suit whatever your propulsion needs may be. Whether you are looking for a sterndrive or outboard, luxury or performance, Mercury and Chief have you covered. The 42 Warriors engine compartment is modular and customizable to suit one's needs. Customers can request either a twin-staggered, twin side-by-side or triple sterndrive setup. If maximum entertainment space is requested, the cockpit and helm can be altered for maximum floorplan potential with either a triple or quad outboard setup.

Chief's Construction
Each and Every Powerboat that rolls out of the Chief factory is completely custom and tailored to the owner’s specific requirements and demands. At Chief, no two boats alike. Chief uses a combination of “Old School” and “New School” methods in the construction process. We mold the boats with the latest and best materials the industry has to offer for strength and durability. Nearly all parts of the boat are Vacuum Bagged or Infused for strength and weight consideration. Carbon Fiber and Aramid Materials are used throughout the lamination process.
Our boat bottoms are solid with no coring material in order to avoid the possibility of water intrusion and de-lamination. Synthetic materials are used for the structures such as stringers, bulkheads, and transom. Unlike other boats of today, absolutely no wood or organic materials are used in our construction process.
Fit, Finish, and Attention to Detail are of the highest priority at Chief. The rigging department uses their years of experience in racing, rigging, and restorations in order to rig the boats with the practices that yield a very clean, practical, and organized layout. Extreme effort is taken to ensure dependability and serviceability of the installed equipment while considering visual appearance and dockside appeal.
